Construction Documents are the basic means of communication in the construction industry.  The key to properly interpreting construction documents lays in understanding the basic framework of a full set of documents.

A complete set of construction documents is comprised of two equally important and linked components:

The full-day seminar will include review and discussion on both components; their importance, priority, details, information and influence on the construction industry.

This seminar will be broken into 2 content blocks for complementary content in the morning and afternoon, which together will provide the basics needed to effectively use construction documents to the benefit of operations and the projects as a whole.  Attendance for the entire seminar is required to receive recognition for completion.

Stress Management – Leave your Therapist’s Couch Behind!

We experience stress in all aspects of our lives, but when it isn’t dealt with it can impact everything from a person’s physical & mental health to their ability to do their jobs.  Too often these days people are not equipped to deal with personal and professional stress & traditional approaches to deal with its effects often do not provide people with tools to manage their stress.  As a result, our organizations and teams can suffer.

Our Young Executives have teamed up with Stacey Alexandre of Two Roads Therapeutics to help teach our members how to analyze & identify stress and deal with it effectively to save you & your team time, money, & sanity.

Using Stacey’s unique biophysical approach to stress management, this Lunch & Learn session will:

  • Cover a background on what stress is & why we experience it
  • Teach the biology behind stress so that it can be dealt with in a non-emotional manner
  • Take participants through how they can improve stress management strategies in their workplaces
  • Provide tangible skills to deal with stress quickly & effectively in the moment

Unlike traditional mental health discussions, this session will be focused on stress management in the workplace using industry-specific examples and is intended to provide real skills to participants to reduce stress.

This session is aimed at anyone who would like to improve their personal stress management skill or is interested in implementing training for stress management in their workplaces.
